Spell and her fiance Dougall tripped off to Bali again - this time for a frangipani-laced wedding (not theirs! A friend's) Of course amongst all the massages, nasi goreng and cocktails she managed to shoot some atmospheric inspiration shots for me to share on the blog.

Anyone who's been to Bali knows that you have to sift through many a piece of junk to find the goodies - but when you find the hidden treasures boy oh boy do you hit pay-dirt!

I remember when I was there in May I was trying to find a vintage table-runner in street stall and I spotted a grubby old leather bag hidden on a shelf behind a curtain. I asked the lady if I could please see it - and she exclaimed, totally embarrassed "Oh no! Very old! And dirty!" But I insisted and it turned out to be a collection of 4 ancient hand crafted kilim & leather bags. Of course I snapped them up and shipped them back to sell in our shop! Here's a pic of one of them:

From Moon to Moon

But all treasure hunting and texturized-inspiration aside (aparently texturized isn't a word but I think it should be) - I'm delighted to finally have Spell back home at Spell HQ – and so happy to have my gorgeous nephew back in my arms!

Spell's rock'n out in:

Also pictured is one of the vintage Kilim Leather Bags (I have 2 left), please email me if you'd like to buy one and I can arrange a quote and sizing info etc. xx
